Founded in 1868, for 153 years Croydon School of Art (now Croydon School of Creative Arts) have had an international reputation. Producing award-winning, internationally-exhibited artists such as Bridget Riley and Juan Muñoz. 

​

In this academic year of 2020-21, the world struggled with Covid-19 causing all staff and students to work from home between January and March 2021. During this time students were offered online workshops and continued to develop their skills and creative ideas. In spite of the hardship of isolation and home learning, students on every course have produced work of outstanding quality.

Throughout the year the students have worked collaboratively with local industry professionals such as Turf an artist-run space in Central Croydon and meeting the performers of 'The Paradise Bar' to discuss creative careers. Many students took part in the curation and set up of 'SnapShot' an internal art exhibition. As well as taking advantage of the well-facilitated on-site workshops, gaining skills and confidence in dark-room, woodwork, ceramics, animation, photography and printmaking.
